With over 4 decades of practicing experience, in India and having attended to disputes/transaction across Chicago, New York, Amsterdam, London, Tokyo and Dubai, Chaitanya Mehta (popularly known as Chandubhai) is one of the most respected legal figures.

He qualified as an Advocate in 1981, as a Solicitor in 1983, and, in 2000, as a Solicitor of UK & Wales under QLTT. Since 2003, he has been appointed as a Notary by the Union of India. He has attended to matters before the, National Company Law Tribunal, SEBI and Securities Appellate Tribunal, High Courts (Pan India), and the Supreme Court of India. He has been involved in cross-border and domestic arbitrations, apart from handling several complex disputes, notably, Garware Club House Vs Mumbai Cricket Association (1985-1998), J.C.Parekh President BSE Vs SEBI (1997).

He continues to be a keen champion for social causes and regularly under takes pro bono cases including for the victims of the 1993 Mumbai Bomb Blasts and serves as a trustee and advisor on several boards.
